چکیده

We present a molecular dynamics and theoretical study on the diffusion of interacting particles embedded surface sphere. By proposing five different interaction potentials among particles, we perform simulations calculate mean square displacement (MSD) tracer under crowded regime high density. Results for all show four behaviors passing from ballistic transitory at very short times, to sub-diffusive saturation intermediary long times. Making use irreversible thermodynamics theory, also model last two stages showing that crowding induces sub-diffusion process similar caused by trapped in cages, MSD is due existence an entropic potential limits number accessible states particles. discussing convenience projecting motions over plane observation, consistent with experimental capabilities, compare predictions our these are remarkably well described qualitative quantitative terms.

Nonequilibrium effects in diffusion of interacting particles on vicinal surfaces.

We study the influence of nonequilibrium conditions on the collective diffusion of interacting particles on vicinal surfaces. To this end, we perform Monte Carlo simulations of a lattice-gas model of an ideal stepped surface, where adatoms have nearest-neighbor attractive or repulsive interactions. Applying the Boltzmann-Matano method to spreading density profiles of the adatoms allows the defi...

Two interacting diffusing particles on low-dimensional discrete structures

In this paper we study the motion of two particles diffusing on lowdimensional discrete structures in presence of a hard-core repulsive interaction. We show that the problem can be mapped in two decoupled problems of single particles diffusing on different graphs by a transformation we call diffusion graph transform. This technique is applied to study two specific cases: the narrow comb and the...

Diffusion and mobility of interacting particles on stepped surfaces

We study the mobility and collective diffusion of mutually interacting adparticles on stepped surfaces through Monte Carlo simulations. We consider the case of nearest-neighbor repulsive interactions and different binding energies at the step edges in the disordered phase. We find that the coverage dependence of diffusion across the steps is sensitive to the adparticle interaction energy. For s...

Mixing of diffusing particles.

We study how the order of N independent random walks in one dimension evolves with time. Our focus is statistical properties of the inversion number m, defined as the number of pairs that are out of sort with respect to the initial configuration. In the steady state, the distribution of the inversion number is Gaussian with the average ≃ N²/4 and the standard deviation σ ≃ N³/²/6. The survi...

Interacting Particles on Finite

There is a well-established topic \interacting particle systems", treated in the books by Griieath 14], Liggett 17], and Durrett 11], which studies diierent models for particles on the innnite lattice Z d. All these models make sense, but mostly have not been systematically studied, in the context of nite graphs. Some of these models { the voter model, the antivoter model, and the exclusion pro...
